The latest addition to the WA Settlement Services’ team, Karen has been in the conveyancing industry for over 20 years. Having worked in all roles from the bottom to the top, Karen is very knowledgeable with Industry practices, expertise that makes her extremely valuable to the team.
With a collaborative nature, Karen loves working in a team environment to bounce ideas off and support one another on a day-to-day basis. What’s more, Karen possesses a strong sense of integrity, a quality that drives her to get the job done no matter what, going to great lengths to make settlements happen for her clients.
Outside office hours, Karen loves spending time with her husband and children. She gets a great deal of satisfaction from the time spent around her children, seeing them grow into young adults and being able to support them achieve their dreams and ambitions.
She’s an avid cook and loves experimenting in the kitchen, a passion she combines with eating out, discovering new eateries around Perth and the many culinary delights they have to offer.
She also enjoys travelling, especially to new exotic places, a favourite of hers being Vietnam. And when she gets a chance to herself, she loves the peace and quiet of ‘me time’, immersing herself into a good book or the many joys of retail therapy.
Buying or Selling
Settlement is the legal transfer of the ownership of land or buildings from one person to another.
If you own land and are thinking about subdividing it so that you can sell, build on, or rent the different lots, we can help you prepare your Application to Landgate.
Have you misplaced your original property Title? No need to panic. We can deal with Landgate and get you a replacement in no time.
Change of Name
Need to change your name in your property Title? Let us take all the hassle away and handle the required paperwork for you.
In the event of a relative or friend passing away, if they owned or part-owned a property, their name would need to be removed from the property Title. In such a difficult time, we can help you sort out all the paperwork required to transfer the ownership of the property.
When a property is owned by two people, and they decide to go separate ways, a Court can make an ‘Order’ which allows one or more properties to be transferred from joint into sole names. Thus, we can help transfer a shared property into one person’s name with nominal stamp duty.
